Pokemon Dark Rift is a new Pokemon fan game in 2016. It has been made from RPG XP Maker and Pokemon Essentials! Based on its name, you can see that it will take the theme of darkness. So, let’s go to its main story.

In a new Pokemon region, there is a strange dark energy rift source. No one know where did it come from and what are its main purposes to be here. They just know that this rift brings a lot of dark energy – a new kind of energy which is very rare and hard to find anywhere in this world. Professor Ficus is one of the people who are using this dark energy to amplify the power of Pokemon to explore the uncovered parts of this region. He gives you a mission: gather all the dark energy for him. And while you are on your way to execute that quest, you meet many mysterious creatures. They are harnessing this dark energy naturally. Maybe they come from a space-time collapse which just appeared some days ago, right before the given quest from Professor Ficus. All right, can you solve the mysteries of this Dark Rift?
