Pocket Forever Monsters – Randomized Pokemon World : A fully randomized Pokemon with unexpected things awaiting… Isn’t that idea cool? Well, you can try that with Pocket Forever Monsters – a game developed from RPG Maker XP.
Pocket Forever Monsters is a Pokémon (first generation style) concept / demo created because I think the idea of a randomly generated Pokemon world is really cool. Games like Terraria or FTL have this type of style when playing games. If this style is used in Pokemon games, it will be a fun game. A good strategy in general is to throw stones at several Pokémon and then try to catch as many as possible. Do not make it difficult to catch the pokemon until you have adrenaline high enough to catch them. The demo starts in the ‘Safari Zone’ style area and creates a different Safari area every time you start the game. Pokemon is somewhat random and has come from many generations. There is no salvation, the game is very short. The mechanics are exactly the same as the Safari Zone. Except some additional mechanisms that are more interesting. Most modern Pokemon games are written in Pokemon Essentials. I experimented with it when I started the demonstration. Instead of using Essentials or ROM hacking, I have chosen this from the beginning because it requires a lot of flexibility when it is generated randomly. Pocket Forever Monsters was created using libgdx, and as a bonus it can theoretically be run on mobile devices, web browsers or desks.
- This is a Pokemon-breeding game, not the fighting game as usual
